Beautiful vintage Asian black lacquer buffet/sideboard featuring intricate gilt detailing and raised hand-applied figural inlay panels.

The front showcases four cabinet doors with dimensional carved and applied figures in traditional dress set within scenic landscapes. Three upper drawers feature Greek key style gilt decoration and brass tone hardware. The sides are decorated with hand-painted floral branch motifs, and the top is protected with a fitted glass panel featuring additional figural artwork beneath.

The raised figures give wonderful depth and texture, adding dimension and visual interest. The lacquer finish is deep black with gold detailing throughout.

This piece works beautifully as a dining room buffet, sideboard, credenza, media cabinet, or statement entry piece.
