Antique Pair of Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses/Binoculars

Lorgnette Handle

B Altman Co Paris

Most likely late 19th century. This is a pair with a telescopic lorgnette handle. All is wrapped in a wonderful Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell with its iridescent qualities. Fully working with good optics. Articulate well.

Note: there is some wear from age/use, especially to the bag. *may be missing a piece from the end of the handle.
